Completely different to any other restaurant in Corralejo ! The starters were amazing, I had squid which melted in your mouth with a mixture of delicate flavours. Beef carpaccio was a taste explosion ! We all had different pasta dishes which were uber delicious, not too much, not too little. A gastronomic pleasure amongst too any similar restaurants. Throughly recommend !

We went into the busy part of town looking for what we hoped would be a good tapas place to eat. We stumbled across this one after finding the recommended one was shut. In all honesty, I'm glad it was shut because I would never have been able to experience the food from margot bistrot y tapas, which was absolutely amazing. THE FOOD - unfortunately I failed to take a picture of the menu myself, so I can't explain the dishes in english, but basically we got 3 tapas to share, one was a crispy onion basket dish, it seemed to have a cheesy, creamy sauce with it which I absolutely loved. Another one was the cheese in panko breadcrumbs with honey, which was a nice dish. The final tapas dish was like a chicken burger (I'm unsure what the other ingredients were), which had a doughnut instead of a bun, savoury, of course. I couldn't give you a favourite as I loved the onion basket and the burger just as much. We then had a bread basket with aoli. The bread was homemade, as was the aoli, and they were delicious! The highlight of our meal was definitely the carbonara! We had one each, and I don't regret that for a minute! I knew instantly that what I was eating had to be authentic with guanciale, something which I had never tried but have always wanted to try. If you've never had it, I can tell you now it is leagues above pancetta. THE SERVICE - I cant fault to service at all, we arrived early and I went in to ask about a table, he told me they wouldn't be open for another 15 minutes, but pick a table and they can reserve it for us. They were brilliant throughout the meal and at the end I asked the lady about the ingredients in the carbonara. She told me the ingredients, then explained they were from Rome in Italy and that was the only way you should make a carbonara, something which I already knew but I just wanted to know that I was right in my guess. I asked for the bill and she brought us 2 shots on lemoncello which was a nice touch at the end of the meal. THE ATMOSPHERE - nice background music and after a while the place started to fill up with people. It was nice and relaxing throughout. Would I recommend this place? Without a doubt! If you enjoy authentic pasta and like to try dishes that maybe you wouldn't find elsewhere, tapas style, this is the place for you!

Margot is a small, family-run bistro with Roman roots that has managed, with remarkable ease, to weave its origins into the local gastronomy. Textures and flavors overflow; surprises dance across the palate. Everything happens at once, and nothing is unnecessary. Excellent tapas, a well-curated wine selection, and a menu that is varied yet concise—just enough to intrigue without overwhelming. Francesca, the host, has the rare gift of knowing exactly what to recommend just by looking you in the eyes. Fresh, local fish; thoughtful vegetarian dishes; well-executed meat plates. And then, the pastas—an absolute must, in my opinion. They brought Rome in their suitcase. Behind the stove is chef Giulia, whose background in Michelin-starred kitchens is quietly reflected in the precision of her technique and the thoughtful execution of each dish. Our journey went like this: A squidi julienne, fresh and light, cooked at low temperature—tender, juicy—paired with zucchini, mint, lemon gel, and pistachio. The dressing brings everyone to the same table. Parmesan spheres with honey, hazelnuts, and guanciale: crispy on the outside, creamy within, sweet enough to embrace the umami depth of the cheese. A nest of onion rings with cacio e pepe sauce—a classic combination that feels unexpectedly new in the mouth. Delicate onion textures, perfectly cooked; the cream takes you somewhere else entirely. A potato crocchetta with beef tenderloin tartare. The temperature contrast is subtle, harmonious. The meat is seasoned with restraint, allowing the raw product to speak with dignity. The carbonara was love at first sight. A dish to eat in silence, without pause. Generous golden guanciale, perfectly emulsified—undoubtedly the most classic and authentic version on the island. And the meatballs—the nonna’s dish we all long for. They’ve recreated it flawlessly. A gentle touch on the emotions. In the end, they made us feel a little bit of Rome and a little bit of Fuerteventura. A place that feels like the home of good friends, where every bite speaks of quality and prices remain kind. Thanks to the Cantatore family.

We have just had a two week holiday in Coralejo self catering eating out every night. We have had some excellent meals but this was by far the best. The food was simply amazing, you could tell it was cooked with care and passion. It all just melted in our mouths , the meatballs with lemon was sublime. The atmosphere was lovely and the lovely Italian couple owners were very kind chatty and attentive. A very clean restaurant as well with no cramping of tables. Price wise very good , we were happy to pay whatever it was going cost because it was more than worth it. Fourteen restaurants on our holiday and this was easily the best !!

Amazing experience!! I went with a group of friends and we had a blast! The dishes were all delicious. We had the classic Roman first courses (carbonara, amatriciana, etc.). I also had the potato pie with beef tartare, and it was exceptional! Aside from the delicious food, the welcome was incredibly warm. A wonderful evening, I'll definitely be back! I highly recommend it
